In January 2007 the Southland Motor Car Dealers Association pledged $500,000 for the capital campaign to support the new Automotive Partners Building, part of the larger Center for Transportation Technologies.  In October 2008 the Greater Los Angeles New Car Dealers Association also committed $500,000.  These gifts demonstrate the leadership and vision of both organizations in support of the needs of the auto industry and its current and future workforce.
